What happens after sending my reservation request for a hotel  in Sri Lanka or for a Tour Plan?

Many of the Hotels listed are included in the Booking Engine we operate, so you would be in a position to confirm your reservations immediately on an online basis, once the payment is also made via online. You would get the confirmations immediately.  In respect of Hotels which are not yet incorporated in to the Booking Engine, no sooner  we receive your booking enquiry, you get a detailed offer about availability, total costs and the cancellation policies for the requested period. Please note that at most of our Sri Lankan hotels, if not stated otherwise, the minimum booking period is three days prior to the date of check in.  For any inquiry regarding tour plan, you would receive  a response immediately with the details needed and payment could be made via online once the offer Is accepted.

 

Will I always receive my confirmation within the promised 24 hours?

Given that you entered a valid email address, you will receive an answer within a few hours. However, due to different time zones and holidays, this could  be delayed slightly in very rare instances

 

How much is the deposit per reservation?

The deposit for your Sri Lanka hotel reservation on an online basis  or for Tour Plan would be the full amount. However if the booking is in respect of a Hotel which is not in the booking engine,  then an advance of 30% to be paid immediately. The balance is to be paid either direct to the hotel or to us   2 weeks before arrival. This depends on seasonal policies by the hotels and all these details would be included in our email response.

 

Are there any cancellation fees?

If you have to cancel a reservation, please do it as early as possible by email.

Cancellations three months or more before the reservation date are free of charge.

Cancellations six to twelve weeks before the reservation date will be charged 10 % of the total reservation amount.

Cancellations one to six weeks before the reservation date will be charged 30 % of the total reservation amount.

Cancellations one week or less before the reservation date will be charged the total reservation amount.

 

When is my reservation confirmed?

Our contract with you is made when you confirm your hotel booking by making the requested payment.
Please check that the details on the invoice are correct. If you cancel or alter your booking later on, you may have to pay an amendment charge. We reserve the right to refuse your booking. If we do this we will refund any money already paid to us.

 

Are there any restrictions reserving a hotel  in Sri Lanka?

You must represent that you are of sufficient legal age to use this site, and to create binding legal obligations for any liability you may incur as a result of the use of this site.
